AST SpaceMobile was chosen by the SDA to compete for satellite projects under the HALO program, focused on military communications and missile tracking. ASTS stock surged 16% on the news before closing down 4.5%, pulling back 36% from its August peak but still up 315% YTD.

Global shares rise as US yields decline, boosted by earnings

G20 finance chiefs, at the IMF and World Bank 2024 Fall Meeting, expressed optimism for a 'soft landing' despite ongoing global challenges. They called for resisting protectionism. A separate statement from Brazil highlighted differing views on discussing conflicts within the G20.
