Nvidia stock steady before Q3 earnings
Nvidia shares fell 1.9% to 186.60 ahead of its Q3 report Wednesday. Analysts expect $1.25 EPS on $54.8B revenue, up 55% and 56% y/y. Guidance above $65B could drive gains. With $4.5T market cap, results may sway Nasdaq and S&P 500 amid AI spending scrutiny.
Lucid shares drop on lowered price target
Lucid fell about 7% after Stifel cut its price target to 17 dollars from 21, citing capital needs. Q3 revenue missed estimates and 2025 output guidance narrowed to 18,000 units. A recent 875 million dollar convertible note offering added dilution concerns as shares remain down over 56% YTD.
Dell slides on memory price spike
Dell shares fell nearly 10% after Morgan Stanley warned a NAND and DRAM pricing 'supercycle' could pressure hardware OEM margins into 2026. The firm cut Dell to underweight and downgraded HP and HPE as rising component costs threaten earnings despite high valuations.

Bitcoin erases 2025 gains after sub-100K break
Bitcoin fell below 92K, down over 9% on the week and more than 20% from its Oct 6 peak. A death cross formed as whales sold, ETF demand slowed and retail buyers stayed out. On chain data shows sellers still at net profit despite weak liquidity and sentiment.

Trump tariffs drive contractions in Japan and Switzerland
Japan's GDP fell almost 2% annualized in Q3 and Switzerland's dropped 0.5% as U.S. tariffs cut demand for autos, watches and other goods. China showed weak exports and a 1.7% drop in investment. Elevated tariff levels continue to weigh on global trade momentum.
